Project Background

The Municipality of Grey Highlands is developing a Long‑Term Waste Management Plan with EXP Services Inc. This LTWMP will guide how waste is reduced, diverted, and managed over the coming decades. The project includes a comprehensive review of the current waste system, analysis of future needs, and evaluation of waste management options using technical, environmental, social, and financial criteria. Community engagement is a key part of the process, with opportunities for residents to learn about the options, share feedback, and help shape preferred solutions. The final plan will provide clear, practical recommendations and an implementation roadmap to support a sustainable, cost‑effective waste management system for the future.

Update #2 - Provide Feedback

We are seeking public input on the options being considered as part of the Long‑Term Waste Management Plan.

Presentation boards and the Comment Sheet prepared for the Public Information Centre (PIC) are available in the Document Library. Feedback will be collected during the PIC directly on the boards, as well as through comment sheets.

You can also provide feedback by completing the online survey available under the Provide Feedback tab. The survey includes the same feedback opportunity as the Presentation Boards, and the optional questions from the Comment Sheet.

Any comments or questions can be sent to GHWastePlan@exp.com.
