Project Background
Strategic Plans are designed to outline specific strategies and goals and to implement and evaluate the results and the outcomes. They are an essential planning tool, and for municipalities, it enables the community to work together toward a shared vision.
Developing a Municipal Strategic Plan should involve broad community consultation that guides Council's direction.
The current Grey Highlands Strategic Plan covers a period of 2019-2023. A new strategic plan will cover the period of 2024-2027 and will consider what we've learned during the pandemic, the first stages of growth for Grey Highlands, and what impacts we should consider for our community in the future.
Council received a report at the November 15th Council meeting with the 2024-2027 Draft Strategic Plan. You can view the draft plan here, or choose the pdf file on the right-hand side in the Document Library.
Council wants to get public feedback on the draft plan. Please review the Draft Strategic Plan and have your say below. Survey results and comments will be provided to Council at the December 6th Council meeting.
