The revitalization of Burnside Parkette in downtown Markdale is almost complete, and we are looking forward to an official ribbon cutting on June 7th. One of the primary elements of this project was to make the Parkette fully accessible, and all pathways, turf, and furnishings have been selected to support this accessibility goal. The revitalization of Burnside Parkette as a fully accessible public space was supported by funding from the Canada Community Revitalization Fund. We look forward to the public joining us on June 7th at 11:30 am for the official ribbon cutting.
